NEW MEETING PLACE ON SVEAVÄGEN
Miss Clara recently opened a new meeting and event area, further enhancing the allure of the esteemed Thule House on Sveavägen. Spanning an impressive 550 square meters, this new section, situated on the ground floor adjacent to the hotel, presents a multitude of possibilities for various occasions.
At the heart of this architecturally groundbreaking building, which in the 1940s was the country's sharpest functional property, a larger meeting room is being created that can accommodate up to 70 people, as well as three smaller meeting rooms for more intimate and private meetings. A vibrant lounge with panoramic windows facing Sveavägen provides guests with an inspiring place for coffee breaks. But it will not only be a place for relaxation and work; Miss Clara will also offer the opportunity to rent the lounge as a unique event venue.
The historic Thule House, also known as the Skandia House, was designed by architect Gustaf Clason and stands today as a unique landmark in modern Stockholm. To complement its heritage, Miss Clara has collaborated with Wingårds to create an atmosphere of timeless and modern elegance.
This new meeting and event area will not only be an extension of Miss Clara's already beloved atmosphere, but also a new chapter in Thule House's rich history and a place where meetings and events blend with culture and design.
THE STORY BEHIND THE NAMES
With the names of our meeting rooms, we want to honor the history and the individuals who have shaped our operation. The name "Thule" celebrates the historic building we are located in, while "Ruth" represents the grid pattern found on the facade. The room "Clara" is named after Clara Strömberg, the enthusiastic headmistress who, during the early 1900s, guided her students at the Ateneum girls' school. With a passion for life and the courage to challenge norms, Clara Strömberg was a pioneer in Swedish education and has always been a true source of inspiration for us at Miss Clara by Nobis. "Iris" is named after one of our current employees, a fantastic woman emphasizing community and collaboration. Through these names, we aim to create rooms with a sense of history and unity.
LOUNGE
The Lounge spans 185 square meters and offers a stylish and relaxed atmosphere. With its generous space, the lounge is ideal for events, casual mingling, or taking a break during the conference day. The modern decor and comfortable furnishings create a welcoming environment where guests can unwind or network.
CLARA
Clara is the largest meeting room at Miss Clara, spanning 104 square meters. It can accommodate up to 70 people in a theater-style setup and is equipped with state-of-the-art video conferencing technology. This spacious and versatile venue is perfect for larger gatherings and presentations.
RUTH
Ruth, covering 35 square meters, is located right next to our vibrant lounge and features glass walls that let in natural light from its large panoramic windows. This room can host up to 12 people for comfortable meetings and dinners in a bright and inviting atmosphere.
IRIS
The Iris meeting room is a stylish venue for both meetings and dinners. With an area of 29 square meters and a capacity for up to 12 people, the room offers an intimate and inspiring environment. Its tasteful decor and modern amenities make it the perfect place for your next meeting or event.
THULE
Thule is an elegant meeting room measuring 27 square meters, accommodating up to 8 people. The room is equipped with modern conveniences to ensure a productive work environment, making it ideal for intimate gatherings. Its sleek decor and functional design make Thule a perfect space for both meetings and dinners.
